熊果苷，又名熊果甙、熊果素、熊果叶甙、熊果酚甙或杨梅甙，为白色针状结晶或粉末，因其最早来源于绿色植物，是一个集“绿色”、“安全”和“高效”概念于一体的皮肤美白活性物质。它能够迅速渗入肌肤，在不影响皮肤细胞增值浓度的同时，能有效地抑制皮肤中酪氨酸酶的活性，阻断黑色素的形成，通过自身与酪氨酸酶的结合，加速黑色素的分解与排泄，从而减少皮肤色素沉积，起到美白，逐渐淡化皮肤的雀斑、黄褐斑、黑色素沉着和老年斑的作用。
