水苏糖自然来源：水苏糖是自然界原本就存在的一种物质，在我们经常食用的蔬菜、治疗疾病的中药材中都含有。虫草参中含量最高，食用历史也最悠久。
在植物分类上，虫草参属于唇形科水苏属植物，与它同类的还有螺丝菜、宝塔菜、罗汉菜等，在北方，人们经常会将它们腌制成酱菜，供冬天食用。
常用的中药泽兰，也属于唇形科，但它的味道较苦，一般不作为蔬菜食用，药典上记载：泽兰具有活血化淤，行水消肿的治疗作用。泽兰也含有丰富的水苏糖。
